An Unorthodox Cheeseburger, A Statue From Space, and Trump Gets His Wax Face Wacked
5 oddities to ponder and share
Hello, fellow Oddballer! There’s no shortage of wacky news and I’ve lined up some real doozies this week.
If you’re new here, please subscribe so that you don’t miss a week of odd stuff!
As always, links are in bold and underlined. Have fun with those. So, without further ado, here are five oddballs for your eyeballs!
That’s One Cheesy Burger!
A Burger King in Thailand is offering a “cheese” burger unlike any other. It’s 20 slices of American cheese on a bun. That’s it. In essence, what you’re paying for is someone to take off the cellophane from 20 slices of American cheese for you. Whatever.
Statue From Space
What would you say if I told you that there is a statue on this earth made out of elements NOT OF THIS EARTH?! You might think that aliens made it. Maybe they did. Who knows? According to Scientific American, the best guess is that it was carved from a meteorite that fell to Earth 10,000 to 20,000 years ago. Oh, and apparently, the Nazis found it. I just thought that adds to the whole oddness of the thing.
Dancing Diesel
You may know that Vin Diesel was a bouncer in his pre-Hollywood days, but did you know that he was a breakdancer too? He’s really good too! Check it out for yourself by clicking here or in the image below.
Wax Trump Punch!
A wax museum in San Antonio (my stomping grounds!) had to remove a wax figure of Donald Trump because people kept punching it in the face! Who punches a wax statue??? Clay Stewart, the regional manager of the Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks Museum, told the San Antonio Express-News, We’ve always had trouble with the presidential section because no matter what president it was — Bush, Obama or Trump — they’ve all had people beat them.”
