Steve Carrel's Doppelgänger, 12,000 Year-Old Man, and Super Mario Psychedelics
5 oddities to ponder and share
Hello, fellow Oddballer!
Have you ever felt like everything around you is a mystery? That’s how I feel this week. There’s so much we don’t know and so many things we thought were a fact but may turn out not to be. It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world!
As always, links are in bold and underlined. Have fun with those. So, without further ado, here are five oddballs for your eyeballs!
Steve Carrel and Alice Cooper?
This had never occurred to me, but Steve Carrel and Alice Cooper are doppelgängers! Well, at least at this point in their life. Check out the picture below. I found it on this website for metal music enthusiasts. It’s from an interview with Jimmy Fallon. Weird, eh?
New Super Mario Game is on Acid
There’s a new Super Mario Bros. game coming out and the trailer is trippy. It’s like watching the old, original Super Mario Bros. game but psychedelic. Granted, I’ve never partaken in any drugs of that nature, but one can guess based on what we see in movies and whatnot. Is a game like this of any interest to you or is it too far out, man?
Old, Old, Old World - Boncuklu Tarla
If you’re familiar with the Göbekli Tepe, this will interest you. There’s a consensus that civilization started around 9,000 years ago. Well, Boncuklu Tarla was discovered and is dated to around 12,000 years ago! I heard about it on this YouTube short. If this is true, are there other lost civilizations we haven’t unearthed?
Try Not To Laugh
What do you think about those “Try Not To Laugh” videos on YouTube? I have mixed feelings since some are downright mean and/or disturbing. Yet, there are some that are genuinely funny. I never make it through one without laughing. Talk about a mix of oddballs!
