Tinker Bell is Missing, Abducted Girls are Found, and the Rise of the Drones
5 oddities to ponder and share
Hello, fellow Oddballer!
I hope you are living la vida oddball! I just found out that Tinker Bell’s name is TWO names, not one compound word name. Did you know that? Odd.
As always, links are in bold and underlined. Have fun with those. So, without further ado, here are five oddballs for your eyeballs!
Drone on the Fourth of July
We just wrapped up Fourth of July festivities and I just found out that some cities replaced their firework displays with drone light shows. It makes sense. After all, those huge fireworks are dangerous and expensive. Also, drones can do all sorts of crazy stuff. How do you feel about fireworks being replaced by drones? Check out this video I found with an amazing example (I recommend skipping to the 5:00 mark).
Dead Giveaway
Ever had warm, fuzzy feelings for something completely odd? That’s how I felt when I watched this Songify video of Charles Ramsey, a Cleveland man who helped save two girls, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, who had been abducted and missing for three years. How does it impact you?
Interview with a Bigfoot Spotter
As you know, I’m a fan of Bigfoot. I stumbled across an episode of Blurry Creatures where the guys interviewed the person who filmed the “Baxter Bigfoot” video. This is odd because folks who share these videos are usually unknown, probably because they feel they’ll be criticized. However, from what I’ve heard, this guy sounds legit.
Mandela Effect: Disney’s Lost Tinker Bell Intro
Do you remember the intro to Disney movies where Tinker Bell comes out, makes the iconic arc around the Magic Kingdom with her wand then dots the “i” in “Disney”? How about another version where her wand doesn’t work so she shakes it to get it to work and then dots the “i”? Sound familiar? Well, that never existed! Click here (or the image below) for an in-depth video about this weird phenomenon.
